Volunteers are an invaluable resource to staff and students at Gippsland Grammar. They enable our students to attend events, camps, excursions and engage in programs which enhance their learning and wellbeing.

Gippsland Grammar is committed to providing a child-safe environment for all our students and our policies and procedures are an essential part of this as they ensure compliance with all relevant child protection laws and regulations, enabling our School to maintain a child-safe culture.

Parents and primary carers are excluded from completing any child safety compliance when volunteering onsite at Gippsland Grammar however, like all other volunteers, parents and primary carers are required to undergo a Working with Children Check clearance and complete our ‘Student Safety’ online courses to volunteer with swimming lessons, excursions, camps and the Rowing program.

Every individual who is not a parent or primary carer and who wishes to volunteer onsite at Gippsland Grammar must read, understand and agree to our Child Safety policies and undergo a Working with Children Check clearance.
