Each year our Bairnsdale Campus sets a theme for the year and this year our theme is – drumroll! - ‘We are all on the same team!’.
On Monday our staff discussed what this meant to us in our everyday actions, what would it look like in our community and who is on our team? In this context, our team is made up of our staff, students and and families. When I shared this with our students on Tuesday morning, the responses were very positive. Demonstrating his understanding further was Year 2 student Hudson Whelan, who stated, ‘we are all in the team as we all lookout for each other’. Which I thought was very well said. With that, I invite you all to be part of our team to support each other throughout this coming year.
